********************************************Fall of 2020 we had 2 events - 4 songs for Veteran's Day and a Carol
Sing
********************************************
Carol Sing - Videotaped by SMAC (Stoughton Media Access Channel)
Since we weren't able to have an in-person concert with a program I
have included the songs we performed along with information about the
lyricists and composers. We normally only perform music from
American composers or lyricists. We are allowed to perform music
of antiquity and so our Carol Sing was based on the John Hancock Mutual
Life Insurance Company Carol booklets that were distributed in news
papers in the 1950s and 1960s. This was a unique collection of
carols that influenced neighborhood carolers for at least 2 if not 3
generations. We also included a few fun songs that were not in
that booklet.
Deck the Hall - Old Traditional Welsh tune and lyrics Hark the Herald
Angels Sing - Music F. Mendelssohn (German) Lyrics Charles Wesley
(British) It Came Upon the Midnight Clear - Music E. H. Sears

Faithful - Both the lyrics and composer are unknown though frequently
attributed to many different people. Jingle Bells Music/Lyrics James
